Riganti Spa was founded in 1891 in Solbiate Arno, Northern Italy about 15 km North-East of Milano Malpensa airport, and has since then specialized as forging master in hot-drop-forged parts in all steel ranges.

The company is ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certified.

The 4th generation is now running the business and the 5th is already involved in the company to continue bringing to expand its markets, now almost equally shared between exports worldwide and domestic supplies.

As family enterprise, Riganti can go through a fast decision-making process and, based on its long-term experience, can offer a far-reaching skill on evaluation of product feasibility and material specifications.

The plant covers a total area of over 48,000 sq. meters (over 57,000 sq. yds), 27,000 (32,000 yds) of which are covered. In the new part hosting the bigger hammers a modern sound-proof environment ensure a smooth forging process to the benefit of the neighbouring installations. New projects to increase the production capacity and to widen the range of products are also under way.

With its average 30,000 ton yearly forging capacity and its current 230 people workforce, Riganti can also offer as a benefit to its customers a complete replacement set for all its hammers in operation, thus being ready to cope with unforseen events during forging activities.

Its skills extends also to the die manufacturing inhouse, and average management of over 3,000 existing dies and a state-of-the art machining department that covers about 25% of its current production for ready for assembly parts, including painting operations to customers' color specifications.

Presently we supply 50% of our forgings to the domestic market and 50% to the European and overseas market (US, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, China, just to name a few)
